On arrival in Zürich proceed to the train station. Enjoy the journey to St. Moritz (approx. 3.5 hrs, change trains in Zürich-HB and Chur), one of the most renowned holiday resorts in the world. Today discover a stunning natural paradise The Gornergrat train takes you from Zermatt to the top of the 3’089 m (11’333 ft) Gornergrat. The journey goes through aromatic stone pine and larch forests and across alpine meadows. Experience 29 four-thousand-meter-high mountains covered with snow and ice. After breakfast, travel to Interlaken by train (approx. 2 hrs 15 minutes). Experience crystal clear lakes, sparkling streams and fantastic falls, caressed by the sunbeams. The towering trio of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau stands sentinel over a world of eternal snow. After having checked in at your hotel, the rest of the day is free to explore Interlaken on your own. After breakfast, you board the train to Kleine Scheidegg via Lauterbrunnen (approx. 1.5 hrs). The famous Jungfrau railway takes you to the highest station in Europe (approx. 1 hrs). A day of fun and excitement is awaiting you in the captivating snow peaks of Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe (3’454 m/11’333 ft). Visit the Ice Cave with its ice formations or else explore the snow on the glacier. You find a range of international restaurants on the Jungfraujoch. Return to Interlaken by train with an optional stopover in Grindelwald (approx. 2.5 hrs). Overnight stay at Interlaken.
After breakfast, the morning is free to explore Interlaken on your own. In the afternoon, proceed to Luzern by panoramic train over the Brünig Pass (approx. 2 hrs). Overnight stay at Luzern.
Today, travel by train to Engelberg (approx. 1 hrs), which is just an hour away. Experience the world’s first revolving cable car that takes you to the top of Switzerland’s highest vantage point with a breathtaking 360 degree view (approx. 45 mins). Spend some time in the snow with your snow disc. In the evening you return to Luzern (approx. 2 hrs). Overnight stay at Luzern.
Today you are free to discover Luzern on your own. Visit the 700 years-old wooden Chapel Bridge, the Lion Monument and the shopping malls. In the afternoon proceed to Zürich by train (approx. 1 hrs). Overnight stay at Zürich/Geneva.
After breakfast, you either proceed to the airport for your onward flight or else continue your stay in Switzerland.
